My first trip alone
My first trip alone
After
finishing school, I and my closet friend started a travel. We were five
person, me, Joaquin, Alonso, Alejandro and Rogelio. We start this travel in
Puerto Montt, where we lived, and I finish the travel back in Santiago.
About this trip, I don't know if I can say that was very important to
me, but was a travel that I can’t forget ever.
The most part of the travel we make hitchhiking, and I can say thanks to
this I spend the best part of the trip. One of the greatest parts of travel
alone is meet people of different part of the world, and this would not have
happened, if we not travel by hitchhiking.
So, the travel start in Puerto Montt, I don't remember exactly the part
where we passed, because I have a bad memory...., but more and less was we
travel form Puerto Montt to Santiago, we passed by Valdivia, Temuco and the Bio
Bio river. We stay one week in Santiago and next we go to Valle del Elqui, here
one of my friends went to the north. And now we four return for valle central
to cross to Argentina. In Argentina my other three friends return to Puerto
Montt but for Argentina until Bariloche. I go to Buenos Aires in bus and spend
one week where an aunt. Next I cross to Uruguay; I stay a few days in
Montevideo, and go to some city for the Atlantic. Then I go to Chuy, a city
between Uruguay and Brazil, and cross to Brazil. I go to
"countryside" of Brazil; I met the "gaucho" culture. Next I
go to triple border between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, I stay some day in
Foz Iguazu and cross to Paraguay. I spend in Asuncion when was the celebration
of independence. Next I take a bus to Bolivia, a very long travel to make in
bus... In Bolivia I go to Uyuni and next return to Chile.
Tripping alone is very exciting! I did it too and I don't regret it.
